For general manager Brian Cashman, both could be possible.
"Everyone wants to make it: Are you buyers? Are you sellers? If anything right now, we'd be buyers not sellers," Cashman said before Tuesday night's game vs. the Colorado Rockies. "And who's to say we can't be buyers and sellers? Obviously, the big focus right now is people want to know if we're going to sell. That's not part of the vocabulary right now.
