David Price overcame all of that in October to become a playoff hero and a Red Sox darling. Did that give Brian Cashman belief that former Vanderbilt star Sonny Gray — who has struggled at Yankee Stadium and within the Rivalry — could follow the same path?
“We are going to move him if we get the right deal because I don’t think it is going to work out in The Bronx,” Cashman told me Monday at the GM Meetings.
