Brett Gardner’s slam signals the New York Yankees turning the corner

The New York Yankees are back. I know I’ve said this before, but this time, I really feel it. The Bombers have now beaten the Boston Red Sox twice in a row at home and looked good doing it.

On Tuesday, James Paxton returned to form and tossed his best game since his no-hitter. The lefty tossed eight innings of two-hit ball and fanned 12 batters. It’s crazy how the lesson of tipping pitches so drastically changes an individual’s game.

Every single person in the starting lineup recorded a hit. Even Mike Tauchman got in on the action, smashing a second deck three-run bomb for his first career home run.
