While Brett Gardner has to wait until mid-November to find out if he won a Rawlings Gold Glove Award, the Yankees outfielder took home some hardware on Monday afternoon.
Gardner won the Fielding Bible Award, which recognizes the best defensive player for each fielding position based on statistics, for the third time since the awards’ existence in 2006.

This season Gardner did something not many fielders achieve in this day and age; he’s the only eligible player in Major League Baseball to play errorless defense.
