With the Yankees trailing 5-4, Parmelee opened the sixth inning by sending a 1-1 breaking ball from Jered Weaver (5-5) into the second deck in right field. With no outs in the seventh, he gave New York a 10-5 lead by sending a 2-1 pitch from Greg Mahle into the right-center-field seats.
Parmelee's third career multi-homer game was accompanied by two more big hits from Carlos Beltran.
