A Miami federal judge ruled Thursday that Biogenesis founder Anthony Bosch’s prison sentence be reduced from 48 to 32 months.
U.S. District Court Judge Darrin Gayles granted the order after both prosecutors and Bosch’s defense had jointly agreed that Bosch’s sentence be cut. Bosch pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute PEDs in October, 2014 and was later sentenced to four years in prison.
“I’m very pleased with the court’s decision and Tony has done everything in his power to correct his mistake,” Guy Lewis, Bosch’s attorney, told the Daily News Thursday after the ruling.
