Bigger Yankees worry: Pitching or offense? | Kuty mailbag

Through three games, the Yankees still have more questions than answers.

Let’s tackle some of the most pressing ones from fans.

The Yankees have a huge problem with their rotation. They can’t afford to have Masahiro Tanaka get tanked the way he did on Opening Day because they don’t know what they’re going to get from Michael Pineda, CC Sabathia, Luis Severino and whoever ends up the No. 5 starter.

It’s hard to say. Partially because it’s early. Partially because of the makeup of the Yankees’ lineup. Going into Friday, the Yankees were hitting .214 with runners in scoring position.
