Bet on plenty of runs early in Yankees-Red Sox finale

Related Topics: Sonata, BET, Masahiro Tanaka

At first glance, one might be looking to the Under in Sunday night’s Yankees-Red Sox game with Masahiro Tanaka (9-2, 3.84 ERA, 1.05 WHIP) vs. David Price (11-6, 3.97 ERA, 1.22 WHIP), especially with both coming in hot. However, neither pitcher has been able to fool the other team’s lineup this season. Tanaka has given up 10 runs in 10 ¹/u2083 innings vs. Boston and Price 12 runs in 4 ¹/u2083 innings vs. the Yankees.

The play: While the Over for the game should be a solid play, I’ll take the Over in the first five innings (projected to be 5 runs) so we don’t have worry about these two strong bullpens shutting down the scoring in the later innings.
