It has been 180 days since the Baseball Writers’ Association of America enshrined the newest members of the National baseball Hall of Fame. The Class of 2019 consisted of Mariano Rivera, Mike Mussina, Edgar Martinez, and Roy Halladay. Rivera became the first player in history to achieve a unanimous selection.
Today, July 21, marks their formal induction. Those four will be joined on stage by Harold Baines and Lee Smith, chosen via the Veterans Committee, as well as Jayson Stark (Spink Award) and Al Helfer (Frick Award).
