In the first game of this doubleheader, Dustin Ackley was the designated hitter and went 1-for-4 with a double, RBI and two strikeouts. Ben Gamel, Jose Pirela, Slade Heathcott and Cole Figueroa each picked up two hits a piece, including a double for Gamel. As for Aaron Judge, he went 1-for-2 with a walk before being removed from the game in the fifth inning so that he could play in the next game.
