The RailRiders played another close game with the Pawtucket Red Sox, and it looked like they might head to extra innings for the second day in a row, but consecutive singles in the eighth inning by Ben Gamel, Rob Refsnyder and Jose Pirela put the team on top. In the third inning, Refsnyder was hit by a pitch and picked off of first base. Aaron Judge singled to knock in two RBI early in the game then proceeded to steal his fifth base of the season and later drew a walk.
