HOUSTON -- The Yankees know firsthand how great the Houston Astros' starting rotation is.
They lived it last October when the Astros' starting pitching was a difference maker when Houston beat them in the ALCS in seven games.
The Yankees lived it Monday night, too, when Astros righty Charlie Morton no-hit them for 5 1/3 innings in a one-run, 7 2/3-inning masterpiece that Houston won 2-1.
And now, thanks to Cleveland Indians right-hander Trevor Bauer's tweeting, we're left to wonder if the Astros' rotation is legit.
Bauer accused Astros pitching of doctoring baseballs to increase the spin rate of fastballs, which can lead a rising fastball effect and more swings and misses.
