MOOSIC, Pa. -- Yankees prospect Thairo Estrada still has the bullet in his hip from after he got shot as teens tried robbing him in January in his hometown in Venezuela.
That's because doctors did even more damage trying to get the bullet out, according to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre manager Bobby Mitchell.
"I think that was the main issue when he was over there," Mitchell said in his office at PNC Field on Tuesday. "They were trying to get it out. They kind of tore it up a little bit on his thigh.
