USA Today | Associated Press: After rattling off 10-straight wins and pitching to a 1.05 ERA in September, James Paxton took the mound for his final start of the regular season. Immediately, Paxton showed signs of struggle and was removed from the game in the first inning after only 21 pitches. After the game, a report came out that Paxton was nursing a tight left glute. An MRI later confirmed nerve irritation for the southpaw. This is something that Paxton should be able to return from in full health before the playoffs.
