NJ.com | Brendan Kuty: Fresh off of losing his starting left field job to Clint Frazier, long-time Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner reminded everybody that he still ran the clubhouse. Prior to last night’s game, Frazier jokingly tweeted, “can’t wear my mock turtleneck tonight because gardy took it from my locker and now he’s going to wear it.” Right on cue, Gardner came out last night donning his teammate’s signature mock turtleneck beneath his uniform. A good joke between friends, these shenanigans are a good sign for fans, as a team struggling and in a funk would not have time for this sort of fun.
