Around the Empire: Yankees News - 9/13/20

Newsday | Anthony Rieber: Jordan Montgomery was blasted by the Rays two outings ago, then lasted just 3.1 innings in his last start against Toronto, but he picked himself up with a much-needed, bounce-back outing on Saturday, allowing just one run through 5.2 innings. The lefty struck out five of the first six batters he faced, and the lone run was the product of some soft contact, all signs pointing to a positive trend for Montgomery.

Newsday | David Lennon: The Yankees were flat-out awful for a span of 20 games, but could they be heading back on the upward trend?
