Newsday | Bob Herzog: Chance Adams was given his first chance to pitch in the majors yesterday. Overall, it was impressive debut against one of the most potent offenses this season. Chance limited the Red Sox to just 3 runs in 3 hits over five innings. He admits that he made a mistake to Mitch Moreland, and the Red Sox do not allow for mistakes. Either way, he is likely to get a second chance after this performance. One would think.
MLB.com | Blake Richardson: In yesterday’s link dump, I mentioned that Tommy Kahnle was called up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
