WFAN: Brian Cashman made the rounds on the radio circuit yesterday afternoon. He faced a number of questions about the Yankees’ decision to stand pat at the trade deadline. Cashman expressed his frustration with the “sky high” price tags sellers demanded. Evidently he informed his war room that he would only trade top prospects for difference-makers, not someone who would pitch out of the bullpen in the postseason. He also reiterated that Scott Boras never gave him the opportunity to make a final bid for Dallas Keuchel. That just seems like an odd business practice, doesn’t it?
