NJ.com | Brendan Kuty: Sonny Gray has been dropped from the Yankees rotation, and Joel Sherman of the New York Post discusses how last year’s trade-deadline acquisition has been a bust. Yankees general manager Brian Cashman told “The Michael Kay Show” on ESPN Radio on Thursday that he fielded offers on Gray, but none of them made sense for the club. Cashman said teams approached Gray from a “buy-low” stance.
”I was not presented with anything that would make me feel like I missed an opportunity or I should have done something,” said Cashman.
