New York Daily News | Matthew Roberson: With the Yankee offense sputtering, Aaron Boone continued to preach confidence in the team’s bats. He argued that the club’s hitters have put together some good at-bats over the past week, but just haven’t quite seen the results. The manager noted “We’re just going to keep poring into game plans and where we can try and make subtle adjustments with individuals. We’ll keep working at it.” With the front office unlikely to make an actual trade soon, continuing to grind and trying to make small adjustments does seem like the best things the actual coaches and players on the ground can do for now.
