New York Post | Dan Martin: After losing several players to injury over the last week, the Yankees actually added one back last night as Giancarlo Stanton was activated from the injured list and returned in Friday’s game against the Tigers. Stanton had been out since May 13th after suffering a quad strain.
New York Daily News | Kristie Ackert: In other positive injury news, Zack Britton is set to begin a rehab assignment this weekend in his road back to the majors. In addition to getting in some innings as he tries to get back to the majors, he’s said that he plans on carrying on the tradition of rehabbing major leaguers treating their minor league teammates to nice meals and postgame spreads before returning to the Bronx.
