MLB.com | Bryan Hoch: We joke a lot about being doomed at the beginning of a season if it doesn’t start well, but there might actually be something to that this year. Yesterday, the Yankees placed both Giancarlo Stanton and Miguel Andujar on the injured list. Stanton has a biceps strain and will be replaced by Clint Frazier, while Andujar has a small labrum tear and could miss the whole season. DJ LeMahieu is expected to get most of the starts at third base while Tyler Wade was also recalled from Triple-A.
