Sports Illustrated | Max Goodman: Just before the Yankees’ game on Friday night, they announced a notable roster move. No, it wasn’t anything about Jay Bruce or Derek Dietrich — not yet anyway. Instead, top pitching prospect Deivi García was demoted to Triple-A Scranton. With less than a week to go before Opening Day, the starting rotation is taking shape, as this all but locks in Domingo Germán as the team’s fifth starter come April 1st. García is sure to return to the team at some point when injuries strike or the team wants to give another starter a breather, but Germán did his part by blanking his opponents in all three spring outings, striking out 13 over 9 innings.
