CBS Sports | R.J. Anderson: The Manny Machado saga came to an end yesterday when it was reported that he signed a 10-year deal with the Padres. In the aftermath, it also came out that like they did with Patrick Corbin, the Yankees never made an official offer. Whether you are happy or annoyed at the Yankees passing on Machado, at least it’s over. At least until the regular season starts, and we see what Machado, Miguel Andujar, Troy Tulowitzki and/or DJ LeMahieu do, at which point we can re-litigate everything over again.
