SNY | Scott Thompson: The Yankees have signed a familiar pitcher from the AL East to a non-guaranteed, minor league contract. Former Oriole Asher Wojciechowski has been invited to spring training by the Bombers, who know Wojciechowski quite well. A 2010 first-round pick, Wojciechowski has faced the Yankees four times, going 0-2 with an 11.57 ERA in those games. He has made 23 starts the last two years, and with the deal being non-guaranteed, it’s a no-risk move for the Yankees to get some pitching depth.
