New York Post | Greg Joyce: Yesterday got a little confusing. Over the weekend, it came out that the Yankees and the Reds had agreed to a deal that would send Sonny Gray to Cincinnati. Then the Reds and Gray were working out an extension, and today, Gray’s new contract was finalized and the saga was over. Until it wasn’t. Jeff Passan broke that the Yankees flipped Shed Long (the infield prospect received from the Reds) to the Mariners for Josh Stowers. This piece is a basic intro to Stowers.
