MLB.com | Jim Callis: One of MLB’s top prospect analysts opines on how Anthony Volpe’s meteoric rise in 2021 could impact the Yankees’ shortstop plans this offseason. Despite Volpe’s incredible development, Callis feels that the prospect won’t affect the Yankees’ approach very much. Volpe still has something like a 2023 ETA, and could slide to second if the Yankees have an entrenched star shortstop under contract.

New York Post | Dan Martin: Right-hander Jameson Taillon officially underwent ankle surgery a few days ago, finally putting his recovery process in motion. Taillon tore a tendon in his right ankle in September, put pitched through pain and even delivered a crucial start in the final game of the season.
