The City | Claudia Irizarry Aponte: For the last six years the New York City Football Club has played their home games at Yankee Stadium, dealing with the limitations of working around the Yankees’ schedule. Negotiations between the Yankees and the city over a plan to build a new NYCFC stadium in The Bronx reached an impasse back in June, due to a dispute over parking. A new survey conducted by the 161st Street Business Improvement District, a group of south Bronx businesses, suggests support from the local community for the project is waning, as well.
