CBS Sports | R.J. Anderson: Anderson ranks the Yankees as one of the top two possible destinations for Arizona’s slugging first baseman Paul Goldschmidt. The first thing I did upon reading this was to look up Goldschmidt’s numbers with runners in scoring position (since that is the Yankees’ greatest offensive weakness), and they are impressive. Over 152 plate appearances, Goldschmidt slashed .274./441./556 with eight homers and 46 runs batted in. He also had more walks (33) than strikeouts (31). He will be a free agent after the 2019 season, so the Diamondbacks are motivated sellers.
