New York Post | Mike Vaccaro: Getting more experience is a good thing for a player, and as we’ve seen so far in the playoffs, it is for a manager too. Aaron Boone went into last year’s playoffs as a first year manager, who had spent the previous seasons in the broadcasting booth instead of a coaching staff. Last year, he was slow to react to things, especially pitching changes, and in year two he seems to be getting better at those as he gets more experience.
