Another Yankee has hit the injured list.
Luke Voit has been placed on the IL retroactive to June 30 with an abdominal strain. Voit suffered the injury during Saturday’s game against the Red Sox in London.
The Yankees called up infielder Mike Ford from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in a corresponding move.
They also sent Chance Adams down to Triple-A and called up Nestor Cortes Jr.
