ANAHEIM -- Los Angeles Angels manager Mike Scioscia cracked a tiny hint of a smile Tuesday when hearing for the first time that he'd been called a "dope" on WFAN radio by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
NJ Advance Media informed Scioscia in his pre-game interview that he'd been called out for not intentionally walking Yankees rookie star Aaron Judge on Monday night with the game tied in the eighth inning, one down and first base open.
Judge wound up hitting a two-run homer, his 22nd, and the Yankees went on take the series opener 5-3 at Angel Stadium.
