Andujar makes Jays pay with 1st career slam

TORONTO -- Miguel Andujar has been an extra-base-hit machine in his brief Major League career, making the rookie a perfect choice for the Yankees to send to home plate with the bases loaded and none out in the seventh inning on Tuesday.

On the first pitch of that at-bat, Andujar connected for his first career grand slam, reaching the second deck in left field against Toronto right-hander Seunghwan Oh. The drive was Andujar's seventh big league homer, coming off the bat at 102.1 mph and traveling 426 feet, per Statcast™.
