Andrew Miller left The Bronx on Wednesday with two regrets.
“I thought we had a chance to win it all and we didn’t get it done,” Miller said outside Yankee Stadium.
The other regret was that he was forced to go on the disabled list in June with a strained muscle in his left forearm.
“I pitched pretty well when I was out there, but I wish I hadn’t missed a month,” Miller said. “My job is to be ready to go for every game and I wasn’t able to do that.”
His first season with the Yankees — and as a closer — was successful, with 36 saves after coming into 2015 with one career save.
