Fly balls were dying on the warning track Tuesday night at Yankee Stadium.
They may have some help Thursday.
Hours before first pitch of Game 4 of the ALCS, the wind was whipping in The Bronx with gusts blowing out to the outfield. With no music playing pregame, the only sounds audible were flags whipping high above the upper deck.
The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory — for winds of 20-30 mph and gusts up to 50 mph — though it was only in effect until 6 p.m. Winds are expected to remain blowing between 16-17 mph throughout the game.
