The Yankees enter tonight’s Wild Card game against the Twins as the favorites to advance to the American League Division Series against Cleveland. It’s not really a surprise considering the fact that the Yankees finished six games ahead of the Twins for the right to host the game at Yankee Stadium.
ESPN has the Yankees as the favorites by 1.5 runs with an over/under of 7.5. The indication here is that they aren’t predicting the game to be a pitcher’s duel by any means. That makes sense considering the rather hitter friendly dimensions of the Yankees’ home ballpark.
