ARLINGTON, Texas — The Yankees are going so good they can spot teams five-run leads and roar past them.
On Tuesday night at Globe Life Park, spot starter Chris Capuano turned in such a dreadful performance you wonder if it was the veteran lefty’s final appearance as a Yankee.
Capuano gave up five runs, five walks and three hits, didn’t make it out of the top of the first yet didn’t swallow a loss.
By the time the Yankees were done batting in the second they were on their way to a 21-5 victory thanks to the 11-run frame that was witnessed by a sweaty crowd that sat through 98-degree heat at the beginning of the game.
