Aaron Judge sent his New York Yankees into the American League wild-card game with a walk-off single in the ninth inning to beat the Tampa Bay Rays 1-0 in the final game of the regular season.
Judge's single to second scored Tyler Wade, who was pinch running for Rougned Odor. It was Judge's eighth go-ahead hit in the 8th inning or later this season, which is the most by a Yankees player in a season since 1961.
The Yankees will now await their opponent, which is still to be decided pending the rest of Sunday's games.
