And let us not forget that at the moment Judge’s season was disrupted by Kansas City’s Jacob Junis’ errant pitch, he was right there with Boston’s Mookie Betts and J.D. Martinez and the Angels’ Mike Trout and the Indians’ Francisco Lindor and Jose Ramirez and a few others in a jammed, star-studded MVP debate.
