At long last, Major League Baseball’s annual award season wrapped up tonight with the announcement of the All-MLB team at the Winter Meetings. To the surprise of absolutely nobody, a member of the 2022 Yankees took home some hardware, as Aaron Judge was named to the First Team.
At this point, it’s hard to find anything new to say about Judge’s 2022 performance. He broke Roger Maris’ American League single-season home run record with 62 home runs, a record that stood for 61 years. He won the AL MVP in a landslide, taking 28 of the 30 first place votes.
