Aaron Judge said before the Yankees’ 3-1 win over the Mariners on Thursday night at the Stadium that he’s still experiencing discomfort from his strained left oblique, so he hasn’t begun baseball activities.
As for Giancarlo Stanton, he hit off the machine, which Aaron Boone called a “positive step for him.”
The manager added, though, the Yankees haven’t begun discussing when Stanton might start a rehab assignment. That could happen soon if he doesn’t suffer any setbacks.
