We all knew things were going just too well for the Yankees. After a win last night, the team was firmly in control of a 6-1 game against the Royals. Aaron Judge singled to put runners on the corners, and then was promptly taken out of the game.
The Yankees’ star was having himself a great game after a homer in the first. The single was his second time reaching on the day. He appeared to be in a great deal of discomfort on his swing and moved awful slowly down the line. As soon as the play was over, Steve Donahue came out to remove the right fielder from the game and insert Tyler Wade in his place.
