The proud mom of Yankee manager Aaron Boone is rooting for another team to make the World Series — the Washington Nationals.
Of course Mama Boone is rooting hard for the Bronx Bombers to make the fall classic too.
“We can have a Boone versus Boone World Series,” the 70-year-old matriarch of the three-generation major-league family told The Post. Her husband, Bob, 71, a former All-Star catcher, works in the Nats’ front office.
