How do you improve a “complete” team?
Aaron Boone likes the moves the Yankees have made this winter, and Tuesday night indicated he believes his team is finished adding pieces, even as Bryce Harper and Manny Machado linger on the free-agent market with next week’s reporting date for pitchers and catchers to Tampa looming.
“I feel like in a lot of ways, we’re a complete team right now,” the manager said at the Grand Hyatt, where he received a Thurman Munson award, with dinner proceeds benefiting AHRC New York City Foundation. “You look at the moves we’ve made this winter, it’s hard to deny that we haven’t significantly improved our club.
