As the Yankees’ batting practice concluded before ALCS Game 5 and as the Astros gathered to begin their session, Aaron Boone and his Houston counterpart made eye contact, and agreed to a quick summit.
It took place just in front of the batting cage between home plate and the mound and the topic was the allegations that surfaced in the past few days in which the Yankees claimed the Astros were cheating in some form by using a whistling system in Game 1 in Houston to alert hitters about certain pitches that were coming.
When asked by The Post if that was the subject, Boone smiled, and said, “It’s all good.
