With every passing day, the Yankees’ starters continue to make Brian Cashman’s job a little easier.
First it was CC Sabathia posting a pair of solid outings in a row, quelling fears that the big lefty was toast. Wednesday, it was Ivan Nova’s turn to show his stuff, which he did in leading the Yankees to a 4-3 win over the Orioles at the Stadium.
Nova held the Birds to two runs over six innings, allowing only three hits to pick up his first win since June 24.
