TAMPA – Alex Rodriguez was back in uniform Friday with the Yankees on Derek Jeter Field at their minor league complex, this time as a guest instructor.
“It still fits,’’ Rodriguez said, with a laugh, before the Yankees played the Blue Jays in an Instructional League game. “It feels great to be back in pinstripes to be with the young players.’’
Rodriguez will be here Friday and Saturday, and will address the 55 young players in a group meeting Saturday morning. Rodriguez is one of several notable guest instructors the Yankees have under Gary Denbo, the VP of player development.
