In case you missed it, the big news over the weekend is that the Mets acquired Robinson Cano, Edwin Diaz, and $20 million in exchange for Jay Bruce, Anthony Swarzak, and a few prospects. Earlier in the week, we heard that the Yankees had discussed the idea of swapping Jacoby Ellsbury for Cano, but nothing came of that.
