9 Yankees things to know: Andrew McCutchen's new number, Aaron Judge's injury

After a day of traveling, the newest member of the Yankees, Andrew McCutchen, will make his debut in pinstripes. The Yankees acquired him officially and cash from the Giants on Friday, just before the waiver trade deadline, for a pair of prospects.

McCutchen will wear No. 26, since Jacoby Ellsbury (remember him?) has the number McCutchen has worn his whole career — No. 22 — locked down.

Also, McCutchen shaved his face early Thursday morning for the first time in about a decade, according to Neil Walker, who was a close friend of his when they played together in Pittsburgh.
