TAMPA, Fla. -- Awe hovered over Aaron Boone like a cloud.
It followed him everywhere. Walking down the hallways of George M. Steinbrenner Field. His new office. His first coaches meetings.
"It was a bit surreal," Boone said at his first press conference at his spring training as the Yankees' manager. "But I've had a lot of those moments I think the last couple of months as we've started to prepare for this season."
Much of the 43-year-old Boone's talk centered around his managerial style and questions facing a roster tasked to do better than last year's Game 7 of the American League Championship Series finish.
